Welcome back to school we hope you have had a wonderful Christmas break. It has been lovely to find out about the children’s’ holiday experiences. All of the children have come into school happy and ready to start the new term.
This week began with an exciting arrival in Reception class. An elf delivered a late Christmas present that had fallen off the back of Father Christmas’ sleigh. It was a bear! Its name is Blue and it will be visiting a different Reception class child for a sleepover each night. The children are learning how to take care of others and share their home routines with each other. They have been painting pictures, writing sentences to describe Blue bear and learning about health and hygiene in PSHE lessons. They will be bear experts very soon.
We are looking ahead to an exciting Spring Term with educational trips for Year One visiting The Sealife Centre and Year Three visiting Fishbourne Roman Palace. World Book Day is always an exciting day and will occur in early March more details will follow. Planning for the Upper School show performance is underway and this year certainly looks amazing. The title of the performance will be announced soon.
We would like to welcome back Mrs Kate Stoner who started LAMDA sessions with individual children today.
