The School Council met on Tuesday, Tom and Romey shared their action plan. This plan will be displayed on the School Council board. Once we have started to action this we will be able to apply for our Bronze Award. This is the first step towards our Green Flag. Tom and Romey also shared with the Council information about local recycling schemes and letters that the children have been writing to companies to ask them to be more environmentally friendly. They also talked about the upcoming trip to Hollingdean Recycling Centre. The children will be holding an assembly to inform the rest of the school about.
We met with the DPA on Thursday and this proved to be a very successful and informative meeting. The DPA will be sending out the minutes to you via Parentmail. Please contact your class rep if you would like to share any ideas or queries you may have.
Auditions began this week for the Lion King and there was much roaring to be heard coming from the Music Room. We can’t wait for show week!
The Herstmonceux fundraiser was very welcome this week especially as the weather has become so much colder. The children looked so cosy wrapped up in their ‘winter warmers’ today. Thank you Herstmonceux for this brilliant and original idea.
Have a super weekend.
