Dear Parents

We have had such a busy and exciting week.

In our ‘new normal’ we are having outside assemblies and this started on Monday morning with our singing assembly. The sun shone and it was wonderful to hear and see everyone singing.

We have also held our first ‘good work assembly’ of the term. This is where children are recognised for their hard work. It was a very difficult choice for the teachers but all children will be recognised for their hard work over the coming weeks.

I was also lucky enough to join our Upper School choir for their first rehearsal on Tuesday. We are hoping many more children will join us for this.

Please remind your children of the ‘Name the Library’ competition. It could be the name that they choose that gets made into a sign and hung above the entrance to the library.

Thank you to all parents who were able to attend our welcome meetings this week. It is so helpful to be able to speak with you about how your child’s class will run.

Please can we ask that you maintain a social distance at the start and end of the school day. We also ask that where possible only one adult accompanies the children to school.

Best wishes and we hope that you have a lovely weekend

Mrs Gane and Ms Hayward
