Dear Parents

I cannot believe how time is flying!

Another busy week at school and we are now gearing up for Christmas. I’ve seen reindeers start to appear around the school and I attended my first Choir carol singing practise this week, which was a delight.

We plan to perform for you all as you drop off your children in the last week of term. In fact, all the children are beginning to practise Christmas songs which is wonderful to hear as we go around the school. We are also making lots of fun plans for the children in the lead up to the end of term.

Even though we can’t do things as we normally would, we are constantly finding ways around this so that the children do not miss out. This week we would have come together for a whole school House spelling test. As we are unable to do this each teacher has completed the spelling test in class and a child from each house was chosen to take part. We will let you know the results.

Today, the children have come to school in their odd socks for Anti-bullying week. This is to highlight that we are all the same but different. All the children have also completed activities within their classes highlighting what bullies are and what we can do about them.

We have had such a fantastic response to the photos that Mrs Gane has been sending out this week. We will try to do more of this so that you can see some of the wonderful work that is being produced.

Please may we ask you to think about where you park in the morning at drop off time. The safety of all of our children must come first.

We wish you a lovely weekend.

Best wishes

Mrs Gane and Ms Hayward
