We would be delighted to receive an application for your son or daughter. The admissions process will be entirely managed by the Roedean admissions team. Roedean’s Director of Admissions, Mrs Diana Banham (dba@roedean.co.uk or 01273 667626), will be your main point of contact throughout the admissions’ process. She is supported by an admissions team who will be happy to discuss any questions you may have along the way.

At Deepdene, we aim to make the admissions process as smooth and informative as possible. We understand that choosing the school for your son and daughter is a big decision, and we will help to support you through this in any way we can.

Nursery, Reception and Year 3 are the main entry points, but a good number of pupils also join the school in the other year groups.

Admissions Process

Before we offer a child a place at our school, we like to meet the prospective pupil and their parents and show them around the school.  This is an excellent opportunity to really get a feel for the school and to meet the Principal and/or Headteacher (if you are looking for a place in our Nursery).

Prior to being offered a place to join the School or Nursery parents must complete a registration form and pay a registration fee of £50.

Parents are advised to submit applications for a place as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Subject to the availability of places, children may be admitted into the school at any time.

If your child is transferring from another school then we will, at this point, request your child’s school file from their current school and a short report from their current classteacher.

Once a place has been offered to your child you will be required to secure your child’s place with a £500 deposit (not applicable to the Nursery). This will be returned to you at the end of your child’s last term in the school.
