With a new Head of Performing Arts at the helm, Mrs Kate Slaymaker, Deepdene is able to offer an exciting and cohesive programme of Performing Arts that includes curriculum Music and Drama taught from Reception age, our very popular Choir, Ballet lessons, several dance clubs, and of course performances throughout the year.

This year, Deepdene will be producing a performance of The Lion King, which will be staged at Roedean’s impressive 350-seat theatre, giving the children the opportunity to perform in a professional environment.

Deepdene offers individual lessons in LAMDA, Piano, Guitar, Violin, Singing, Saxophone, Clarinet and Flute lessons

Head of Art, Mrs Viney, ensures that all children grow to love the subject, offering a curriculum that inspires and stretches emerging talent.  A dedicated Art workroom and an Art Club once a week allows children to work on ongoing projects, whilst regular trips to London Museums and Art Galleries are organised in conjunction with Art topics.
